Terms of Service

These terms apply to Monstrand, the game at this website and in the Solana dApp Store, run by Wk.t202. By playing you agree to them.

The game

Monstrand is a game for entertainment. Shards, lab slots, monsters, Codex entries and scores are virtual items with no cash value: they cannot be withdrawn, sold back to us or exchanged for money, and they are not an investment. We may change, rebalance or retire monsters, rules, rewards and prices as the game develops, and a rebalance may change what a monster or a shard is worth in play.

Payments

• Shards and lab slots can be bought for SOL or SKR. Each purchase is a Solana transaction you approve in your own wallet, and the price is shown before you approve. Shards never reach the Daily Splice, so nothing on a leaderboard can be bought.
• On-chain payments are public and final. We cannot reverse one, so check before you approve. There are no refunds of on-chain payments except where the law requires one. If you paid and did not receive what you bought, contact us with the transaction signature.
• You pay the Solana network fee for each transaction.

The Genesis Egg

Each connected wallet can claim one Genesis Egg, and several players may pick the same Genesis monster. The egg is a virtual item like any other, with no cash value.

Your wallet

You are responsible for your wallet and its keys. The game asks your wallet only to send SOL or SKR, and never to sign in or sign a message. Because the game accepts a wallet address as given, anyone who knows your address can play with the lab stored under it; they can never take SOL or SKR from it.

Fair play

Every expedition and Daily Splice result is replayed on our server and refused if it does not match. Do not automate play, tamper with the game or its requests, or overload the service. We may remove scores, reset a lab or block access where we see abuse.

No warranty

The game is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. It may be unavailable, and progress or purchases recorded during an outage may be lost. To the extent the law allows, Wk.t202 is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the past twelve months.

Changes

We may update these terms; the new version will be posted here with a new date, and playing after that means you accept it.
